Economic Development and Tourism Greater Belhaven Foundation
The Greater Belhaven Neighborhood Foundation is charged with long-range planning for the historic Belhaven and Belhaven Heights neighborhoods. The Foundation focuses on historic preservation, economic restructuring, green space enhancement, and safety. Greater Belhaven is an official Mississippi Urban Neighborhood Main Street community. An initial brand identity for the foundation helped launch its efforts. The next step was branding and promotion of the foundation's Fresh Air Market. Additionally, a larger web site created an umbrella identity for the many neighborhood organizations and a vehicle to communicate the results of urban renewal within the neighborhood.
