Creative Director Owner

Vidal Blankenstein has contributed to the creative communication process for more than 25 years as an agency V.P., Creative Director, Advertising Director, Designer, Copywriter, Broadcast Producer, Marketing Director and Brand Consultant. She grew up in Natchez, Mississippi, a town known for its tourism industry and visual experience. There she acquired her knack for good stories and creative sales pitches.

With extensive experience in traditional print and broadcast advertising, as well as interactive design, campaign concepts, communication strategies and event promotion, Vidal has produced award-winning works for clients throughout the region. Her work has been recognized with more than 10 annual Best of Show honors and has been included in Regional/National Advertising Competitions and industry-specific publications. Active in civic and arts organizations, Vidal Blankenstein holds an M.F.A. and B.F.A. in graphic design and has instructed courses on the university level. Vidal is also a painter and represented by Le Mieux Galleries in New Orleans. Her work is also included in private, corporate and permanent museum collections across the Southeast.

It has been said that Vidal is one of the best problem solvers you will ever meet. As the Imaginary team can attest, she makes the often-stressful process of branding, design, and advertising a fun experience for all.

Print Photography

Aaron Phillips grew up in Texas. An entirely random series of events led him to Mississippi, where he became a professional photographer and Photoshop master. His beard is extraordinarily red, which perhaps led to his skills with color and lighting. Aaron entertains the Imaginary team with his tales of cross-country road trips and inner-city adventures.

Motion Graphics

Robby Piantanida hails from East Texas. With a degree in Visual Art, he is Imaginary's primary videographer and video editor. He maintains his own film production company as a director, editor, and effects artist. Possessing dozens of short films and one feature to his credit, he is much more comfortable BEHIND the camera.

PrintWeb

Tyler Tadlock is the senior graphic designer at Imaginary Company. In late 2009, he relocated to the Pacific Northwest to help jumpstart Imaginary Company's first satellite branch, currently located in the basement of his home in Portland, OR. Areas of expertise are print and web design, corporate identity, beer tasting, digging for cheap vinyl gems in the discount bin, and composing music on the computer. He enjoys long walks on the Oregon coast and pillaging through dumpsters for found art.

Rebecca enjoys Imaginary for its creative variety and its expect-the-unexpected atmosphere.
